TABLE OF CONTENTS

Navigate to the Free Kindy Acquittal screen

Navigate to Subsidies in the menu, and select Kindy Funding from the drop down options.

On the Free Kindy screen, navigate to the Acquittal tab. In this screen, you can view your Free Kindy program by centre, or by child, by selecting either the Centre or Child tabs.

How to prepare an Acquittal

Select the Prepare and Submit button on the top right hand side of the screen.

Enter the information required, then select Prepare Acquittal.

Submitting the Acquittal

Once you have selected Prepare Acquittal, the acquittal will process and display any warnings and/or errors found within the acquittal that has been prepared. Select Download warning / error report to download the report so you can fix up any errors within the prepared acquittal.

Once the errors have been fixed up within the forecast and you are ready to submit, select Submit Acquittal.

Once the acquittal has been submitted, it will show as Submitted in the Status column on the Centre Acquittal screen.

Change of Software or Change of Ownership Acquittal options

Centres who change software or ownership within a Queensland Kindergarten period, are required to flag this information to the government. If you move from a different software to Kangarootime, you will use this option to submit a second Acquittal at the end of the period. The first acquittal is performed in your old software at the time you change.

These details are entered when you are preparing your acquittal.
