Creating an Employee Profile

Modified on Mon, 23 Sep at 11:34 AM

Employee's can be created and permission levels managed from the profile page.  Access to the individual employee profiles is dependent on the profile level linked to the user.  A user does not have access to someone with a greater privilege than their own - ie: an employee created as an Assistant Manager will not see anyone created as a Manager, Administrator or Account Owner.

Select the drop down arrow next to Employees in the menu then select Profiles.

Click + Add Employee

Mandatory information is indicated with a * and will be required to be completed in order to save.

A start date must be included to invite a new employee. While it is not mandatory at the time of creation, it must be entered in order to send the invite to the new employee.

It is important to Learn more about the default Employee Roles.

Once saved the employee's profile page will be loaded for further information to be added.

Notes:

  • The employee can complete their own profile information once they accept the invitation via the welcome email. It is not required to be completed at the time the employee is created.
  • Time logs, Schedule or Time Off will not be able to be created or submitted until after the employee has accepted the invitation via email.

You will not immediately see the new employee on the Profiles landing page, unless you have filled out all of their mandatory details, emergency contact and photo.

If you created a profile for them but did not send them an Invite, you can find their profile by clicking on Created at the top of the Profiles page.

If you created a profile and sent them an invitation, you can find their profile by clicking on Invited at the top of the Profiles page.
