The Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) was introduced to provide further fee assistance for those children who need extra support. For a more detailed understanding, please refer to the Department of Education's Establishing eligibility for child wellbeing and Applying for a child wellbeing determination resources.
Please note: A child must have a CWA or PEA enrolment before a Determination request can be submitted. The CCS Enrolment must contain the child's DOB and CRN.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Creating a Determination
From the selected family Account profile, select the CCS tab.
Select the child and click + Add Child at Risk. Select Create Determination.
Mandatory information is indicated with an asterix and is required to be completed in order to submit.
Child details
The start date of the Determination must be a Monday date. Specify which child the Determination is for, as well as the amount of weeks at risk and what the risk reasons are. Use the Indicative Risk to Date calendar to specify the date to which the child is at risk.
State/Territory Body Details
The Determination cannot be submitted unless the State/Territory 204K notice has been provided. If the Provider has already submitted the notice on a Certificate within 6 weeks of the application submission date then they will not need to do so again at this point.
If the Provider has not submitted the notice, specify whether the Provider was notified or they are notifying a State or Territory body. Add the notice date and provide any organisation and contact details you have. If the Provider was notified by a State/Territory body, it is mandatory to attach the notice they sent to you.
Supporting Documents
Evidence must be provided to support the application for Determination.
Supported file types: pdf, png, tiff, jpg
Please note: Determinations require both a State and Territory Notice (204K) evidence type and Child Well Being Evidence (ACC002) evidence type to be uploaded.
Declaration Agreement
The final step is to declare that the information you have provided on the Determination application is true and correct. Select Submit.
