The Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) was introduced to provide further fee assistance for those children who need extra support. For a more detailed understanding, please refer to the Department of Education's Establishing eligibility for child wellbeing and Issuing a wellbeing certificate resources.
Please note: A child must have a CWA or PEA enrolment before a Certificate request can be submitted. The CCS Enrolment must contain the child's DOB and CRN.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Creating a Certificate
From the selected family Account profile, select the CCS tab.
Select the child and click + Add Child at Risk. Select Create certificate.
Mandatory information is indicated with an asterix and is required to be completed in order to submit.
Child Details
The start date of the Certificate must be a Monday date. Specify which child the Certificate is for, as well as the amount of weeks at risk and what the risk reasons are.
State/Territory Body Details
Although it is not mandatory to submit the state and territory body notice at the time of submitting the Certificate, a breach will be recorded if you do not submit it within 6 weeks of the start date of the certificate.
Specify whether the Provider was notified or they are notifying a State or Territory body. Add the notice date and provide any organisation and contact details you have. If the Provider was notified by a State/Territory body, it is mandatory to attach the notice they sent to you. Note: '204k notice' is the name for the State/Territory Body details the government use.
Supporting Documents
Evidence of the child being at risk is optional for the Certificate as long as you declare you have supporting evidence and produce it if requested. If the Provider was notified by a State/Territory body they will need to attach the notice they received.
Supported file types: pdf, png, tiff, jpg
Declaration Agreement
The final step is to declare that the information you have provided on the Certificate request is true and correct. Select Submit.
