Managing ACCS for a child

To ensure ongoing compliance with the Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) requirements, various actions can be taken within the program to manage Certificates and Determinations.  Refer to the Child Care Provider handbook to understand these requirements.

These actions can be performed from the individual family Account profile on the CCS tab:




Cancelling a Certificate


To cancel a Certificate after it has been submitted, click on the specific certificate and the Cancel button will become available in the details area below.


Select Cancel, provide the reason for cancellation and declare that the information you are providing is true and correct then Submit.


State/Territory notice submission


If you did not provide the State/Territory body details on the initial submission for the Certificate, but need to within the six weeks from the start date of that certificate, you can do so.  Select the Certificate and the Edit button will become available in the details area below.


Select Edit, add the information under State/Territory Body Details then Submit.


Note: you are only able to add and submit State/Territory body details from this action.


Child no longer at risk


To report that a child is no longer at risk, select the Certificate or Determination and the Not at Risk button will become available in the details area below.


Select Not at Risk, provide the date and other required information before declaring that the information is true and correct then Submit.

The actions can be performed from the Subsidies area of the menu, specifically the CCS Subsidies screen and then ACCS tab:



Monitor Certificate and Determination statuses


To see an overview of the various Certificate and Determination status and details for the Centre or Provider, visit the ACCS tab.  You can filter them by status: Pending; Active; Expiring and Expired.


ACCS Service metrices


To see an overview of the percentage of Children at risk, application type and centre percentage cap, select the View ACCS Limits button.
