App updates, Enrolment improvements and a new Notification!
Fixes
The Point of Care app has been updated to v1.1.62, and is now available for update in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. This update removes the drag and drop of children from the Centre Overview screen and fixes a crash on the Daily Note History page when loading hundreds of notes. Also, the Centre Overview (Detailed View) now sorts Spaces and Classes within Spaces alphabetically.
The KT Connect app has been updated to v2.7.6, and is now available for update in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store for parents at your centre. This update includes improvements to image quality and orientation for videos in the Gallery tile, as well as authentication improvements.
Improvements
Additional Contacts and emergency/pickup requirements are now highlighted within the enrolment form. When adding additional contacts to the enrolment form, there was some confusion with the messaging when permission requirement totals weren't met. Now the number of required emergency and pickup contacts is highlighted in two places to improve the guardian's experience.
Within our enrolment feature we have added additional checks to stop Primary contacts from assigning themselves as Additional contacts. When adding Additional contacts to the enrolment form, if the first name, last name and phone number match a primary contact or another newly added secondary contact, an alert will be displayed asking them to add someone else instead (see picture below). The motivation for this is to reduce the amount of duplicate contacts being created in KT via the enrolment form.
New Features
We have introduced an Enrolment Form Completed Notification! When a new or existing family completes their enrolment form, a new notification will display in Kangarootime under the bell icon.
