New features added to Child Health and Wellness - Health Professionals and Medicare
Check out our video on tips and tricks for your centre as we approach the End of Financial Year!
Fixes
The Point of Care app has been updated to v1.1.75, and is now available for update in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. This update includes the addition of an error displayed to the user when a photo note upload fails.
The Emergency Contacts Report has been updated so that any Archived Children no longer show on this report.
Previously, deleting child or account documents was restricted to Business level users. This has been updated, and users of any role can delete child or account documents as long as they have the Child Documents and Family Account Documents permissions set to delete.
Improvements & Updates
The Contract Report now includes Casual contracts! Where other contract types such as weekly or fortnightly have a Day ID, this will be blank for Casual contracts.
We have updated the Child Profile Health and Wellness tab to include both Health Conditions and Immunisations as sub tabs. This is to ensure all child health and wellness data is in the one place, and to prepare for the addition of new information.
We improved the QLD Kindergarten Update Eligibility feature on a child's Agency Link. To update a child's eligibility for special circumstances, you will now be able to select the affected week and adjust the child's status to Ineligible/Eligible. You will also be able to select a date range to mark the child as ineligible if they are not receiving QLD Kindergarten funding from your centre for a selected period of time. For more information, please see the Update a child's program eligibility section of the Add Children to a Free Kindy (QLD Kindergarten 2024) Program article.
The Enrolment Form will now automatically display Surcharge totals and Dishonour Fees to parents in the payment collection area of your centre's enrolment form. This is based on the surcharge selection the business has made for your centre. If you choose to pass these surcharges and dishonour fees on to the parents, they will display on the enrolment form.
Please note: If the centre is not passing on any fees to the parents, the surcharges and dishonour fees will not appear on the form.
The Enrolment Form will now automatically display the Terms and Conditions of the Direct Debit agreement for parents to click on and view when entering their direct debit details and accepting the agreement.
Please note: This agreement checkbox becomes mandatory once the parent has entered their payment details within the form. Your centre's name will be displayed in the agreement on your enrolment form - The Centre @ Westmead is an example.
New Features
We have added both Health Professionals and Medicare details to the Child Profile under the Health and Wellness tab. Here is where the information regarding the child's doctor and other health professional contact information is stored, as well as the child's Medicare information. These can be entered manually by an employee, or through the enrolment form when the parent initially enrols or updates their child's enrolment. For more information, please see the Child Health and Wellness Information article.
Please note: All Enrolment Forms are currently in the process of being updated with the new system questions for Health Professionals and Medicare. If you have any questions regarding this update to the Enrolment Forms, please contact help@kangarootime.com.au.
Kangarootime now displays the name of the person who created a payment method, as well as the date and time it was added. This can be seen by going to Accounts > Billing > Overview, and dropping down on a Payment Contact who has a Payment Method saved. Under the Created By column you will see who the payment method was created by, as well as the date and time.
