New features added to Enrolment, updates to QLD and NSW Kindergarten reporting and more!
Fixes
The Point of Care app has been updated to v1.1.76, and is now available for update in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. This update includes additional logging, multiple image upload error handling improvement and improvements to ensure that if a staff member is moved out of a room, they will stay on the sidebar.
Employees will now only see information from the centres they have access to on the Billing dashboard.
Previously a deactivated employee could not be linked to a Kindy program once they were reactivated. Not anymore, now the employees are available to be linked within the Kindy program!
Improvements & Updates
The 2024 NSW Start Strong Report is updated and ready to go! The report introduced for 2024 has very specific field requirements. You can download the report for your centre, then import the report into the centre's portal for Kindergarten funding/reporting.
A reminder on how to access the report:
Go to Centres > Programs,
Choose Run Report,
Select your NSW centre and enter the reporting period dates.
Subsequent Acquittals have now been implemented for 2024 QLD Free Kindy. When submitting a current period acquittal from P2 2024 onward, we will be submitting up to the last 4 previous acquittals at the same time. This process was a solution made between QGrants and the various CCMSs to ensure any adjustments that have been made to a child's entitlement and eligibility in previous periods, are reported so that they can make payment adjustments to the centres accordingly.
We have identified a risk in the Custom Field Report running multiple times in large businesses. This can greatly affect the performance of the core database, affecting all businesses, so we have restricted this report to be run for one centre at a time only.
The IS Case Claim screen has been updated to ensure historical case claims are accessible. We have also added further wording within this screen to explicitly let users know that the tiles at the top include the last 9 weeks of data.
We have updated Payments in Kangarootime to ensure that once a payment has been submitted to Fat Zebra for processing, this cannot be cancelled.
New Features
Account Holder and Signature elements have now been added as payment fields in Enrolment! It is important that the person signing the DDR agreement, is the person who owns the payment method that money will be deducted from. This Account holder may very well be different to the person filling out the form - but it is their responsibility to provide the correct signature. Parents and guardians will now need to provide the following information when completing the Enrolment Form.
- We now collect the 'Account Holder Name' for both Bank Account and Credit Card payment methods.
- In the Agreement and Authorisation section, they will need to check 'I confirm that I am the account holder of this payment method'.
- Signature and the 'Account Holder name' pulled down to display next to the signature.
