Child Health and Wellness Information

You can record and manage up to date information regarding health and wellness for the children at your centre, through their individual child profile. This includes Health Conditions (Medical Conditions, Allergies, Restrictions etc.), Immunisations, Health Professionals and Medicare information. 


To view or manually add any health and wellness information, select the Child Profile, and select the Health & Wellness tab. Here you can then select the relevant tab to view or add Health Conditions, Immunisations, Health Professionals or Medicare details for the selected child.

Adding a Health Condition

From the selected Child Profile Health & Wellness tab, then select the Health Conditions tab.


Click + Add Condition to get started. Choose between adding a medical condition, an allergy or a restriction.

Mandatory information is indicated with a * and is required to be completed in order to Save.

 

Adding a Medical Condition

Complete the:

  • Type of medical condition

  • Name of the condition

  • The risk level: Low, Moderate, High

  • Symptoms (choose multiple where necessary)

  • Care Instructions for the child

  • Documentation (if applicable)

Click Save and view the new medical condition on the Health & Wellness page. To view the Care instructions, click on the condition and they will display in the details area below.

 

Adding an Allergy

Complete the:

  • Type of allergy

  • Name of the allergy

  • Severity: Mild, Moderate, Severe

  • Reaction (choose multiple where necessary)

  • Care instructions for the child

  • Documentation (if applicable)

Click Save and view the new allergy notes on the Health & Wellness page. To view the Care instructions, click on the condition and they will display in the details area below.

 

Adding a Restriction

Complete the:

  • Type of restriction

  • Name of the restriction

  • Importance: Low, Moderate, High

  • Description

  • Documentation (if applicable)

Click Save and view the new restriction notes on the Health & Wellness page. To view the Care instructions, click on the condition and they will display in the details area below.


Update the Health Condition

To update the child's details, select the condition and the Update option will display in the details area below.

Click Update, edit the details then Save.

 

Archive the Health Condition

To archive, select the specific condition and the Archive option will display in the details area below.

Click Archive and read the warning. Once you archive a condition, it will remain viewable, but not editable. Click Archive or Cancel.


Adding Immunisations

From the selected Child Profile Health & Wellness tab, then select the Immunisations tab.

Click + Add Record to get started. Upload the child's Immunisation Record document, and enter the expiry date if applicable. 

Mandatory information is indicated with a * and is required to be completed in order to Save.


Adding a Health Professional

From the selected Child Profile Health & Wellness tab, then select the Health Professionals tab.
Click + Add Health Professional to get started. Select the Practitioner Type, and enter the First and Last Name of the child's practitioner, the Practice name, Phone Number and Address of the practice. Select which accounts to apply the Health Practitioner to (multiple can be selected if the child is associated with multiple accounts).

Adding a Medicare Card

From the selected Child Profile Health & Wellness tab, then select the Medicare tab.

Click + Add Medicare Number on a specific account to get started. Enter the child's Medicare Number, Position and Expiry date.

Mandatory information is indicated with a * and is required to be completed in order to Save.

Please note: Children may be on up to two (2) medicare cards. This is why a Medicare card can be entered per account.
