Improvements
The Confirmation of start date email sent to parents after their online enrolment has been confirmed has been updated to show the start date of the child's first session at the centre, rather than the start date of the child's contract. We were finding these dates did not always match, so the update to display their child's first session date was implemented.
We have released a 'Remove' button on the CCS Enrolments. This will allow you to remove any CCS Enrolments entered under the incorrect parent/guardian details, and move CCS Enrolments between accounts if you have a family with duplicate accounts at your centre. Please see the Managing CCS Enrolments with Incorrect Data article for more information!
You can now opt to capture a guardian's signature in your enrolment form. When editing a form, choose or create a new custom field of type 'Signature' and add it into the desired position on the form. The guardian will be able to draw their signature into the form using their finger on a phone or tablet, or with a mouse on a computer. Please see the Custom Data Fields article for a peek at what the Signature custom data field type looks like!
Access to Today's Attendance screen can now be turned on/off, depending on your business needs, via the Attendance > General Settings screen. If you have multiple centres you can turn it on/off per centre. The Attendance > Today screen will now only show centres that have this feature enabled.
New Features
Now in Kangarootime, the billing contacts on an account will receive an automated email informing them that their payment that has been sent to the payment processor has failed.
Who receives this email?
- If the payment method used for the payment is linked to a contact WITH an email > we email that contact alone
- If the payment method used for the payment is linked to a contact WITHOUT an email > email the contacts with Billing permissions on the account
- If the payment method used for the payment is not linked to any contact (legacy) > email the contacts with Billing permissions on the account
