Linking a Contact to a Child

This article is to assist in correctly linking a contact to a child, and ensuring they are assigned as a contact for Emergency Contact Reporting.


TABLE OF CONTENTS


Adding a new contact against an account


Select the Accounts option from under the Families menu








Select + Add Contact

Select Contact Type Primary or Authorised

Enter contact details 


Select Continue


Select the child/ren, select relationship, and select permissions

Select Account Permissions for Billing and Engagement



Select Save




Adding Existing contact to an account


Select + Add Contact

Select Contact Type Primary or Authorised

Select Add Existing contact?

Start typing the contact name until the appear, you can then select the contact and their existing details will populate.



Select Continue

Select the child/ren, select relationship, and select permissions

Select Account Permissions for Billing and Engagement

Select Save


Linking an existing contact to children


Select the Accounts option from under the Families menu



Select the account you are adding or editing the contact for by clicking on the account


Select the contacts tab



 

Under contact you can see the listed contacts and the children they are linked too


You will need to select the drop down arrow beside the contact and select the "... " and select edit permissions





Select the children the contact is to be linked to


Select if they are permitted to pick up the child


Select the relationship to the child


Select Save


Linking Contact for Emergency Reporting


Select Children from the Families Menu

Search for the child and select them

Select the dropdown under Emergency Contacts and assign all contacts one by one that need details on emergency contacts report



These contacts will then appear on the Emergency Contact Report for the child
