Understanding Balances on Accounts

To view Opening and Closing Balances on an Account, navigate to the Transactions screen on accounts by selecting the Account, selecting the Billing tab, then selecting the Transactions tab.


Using custom date ranges on this Transaction screen will also display the Opening and Closing Balances relevant to the selected dates. 



On the Transactions screen you will also see a column titled Balance. This displays the balance of the account after each transaction on the account, breaking down the balance of the account transaction by transaction. 


Please note: If you are sorting the transactions on the screen by anything other than date, the balances in the column will not show in order, they will display the balance on the account according to the date of the transaction.
