Applying Billing Cycle to individual account

This article is designed to assist in applying a billing cycle to an account.  All accounts need a billing cycle set to ensure the attendance charges are generated and the account reflects the correct owing balance. 

 

Ensure your service has set up Automated Billing Cycles to be able to apply these to accounts

 

Under Families in the menu, select Accounts from the drop down. Then select the account that you want to apply the billing cycle to. Select the Billing tab, select Setup.

 

Applying a Billing cycle to Individual accounts
The Cycle Start date can be set to any day of the week, though we suggest setting it to the Monday of the week that billing will start for the family to keep things consistent.

  • Choose the Cycle start date

  • Select a Billing Cycle template that they will be charged on

  • Add a Limit if provided by the parent

  • Save the account Billing settings

 

After the Save, you will see a blue ribbon under the setup that will outline when the first payment will be collected from the family using their payment method details. 

 

If you check this information and the dates do not align with your expectations, you can adjust the Cycle start date and Save again.  This action will change the collection dates for you.
