Book Casual Sessions for your Child through KT Connect

This article is designed to show the process for booking casual sessions for your child/ren, as well as cancelling  casual sessions (if applicable) or marking your child's sessions as absent. You can only book your child in casually if there is a current active contract for your child at the centre.  If your child doesn't have a permanent or casual contract, you will need to contact the centre directly first.

Download the KT Connect App from
App Store
Google Play

Logging In

Go to Settings and ensure Region is set to AU
Enter your email or phone number that is linked to your KT account, you will then be sent a verification code to enter

 

Once logged in you will have different options available from your home screen

Accessing Casual Bookings

In the KT Connect app and select Attendance

See Availability

Once on the attendance screen you will see a list of your child/rens bookings and a button at the bottom,
Select Schedule New Booking

Make a booking

You will then be presented with a calendar of the current month that you are in, past days will be greyed out, and unavailable days will appear pink.  Select the days you need bookings for, they will turn purple and select View Availability.

You will then have the session information, already booked sessions will appear blue, sessions you are not booked in for will appear white and you can select these to turn them green and select Review.

You will then be able to see the casual sessions in the list of sessions booked in for your child.

Booking Multiple Sessions

When you are booking multiple sessions for your child through the KT Connect app, if one of the sessions does not have a position available, you will still be able to book the remaining sessions that have positions available. You will receive the below error, detailing which session/s were not available and were not booked for your child. 

Cancel a casual booking

If you are needing to cancel the booking you can select the casual booking and select confirm to remove the booking without charge so long as its within the cancellation period. If you attempt to cancel the booking outside of the cancellation period, you will only be able to mark the booking absent.
