Here is what we have been up to over the last few months! 


bug.png Fixes

We have fixed the IS Cases Summary screen to show Active IS Cases under the Active Filter. If you are needing to view any historical cases, or backdate a Case Claim, you will be able to view any Inactive IS Cases by filtering to show Inactive cases also.


improvements.png Improvements & Updates

As you may already be aware, Kangarootime AU recently underwent an acquisition, resulting in some required changes to where the Kangarootime AU apps are housed in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Our existing apps are single apps that previously covered both the USA and Australia, however for Kangarootime AU to continue providing enhancements for users, it is necessary for us to republish our app and migrate all users to the new AU only versions by 31 May 2024.
To help with this process, Kangarootime AU has worked with the app stores to create in-app prompts to guide users in downloading the new apps. The communication timeline is as follows:

  • Week beginning 13 May: Users will receive the first prompt to install the new apps, while the existing apps remain active. 
  • Week beginning 20 May: Users will no longer be able to use the existing apps and will be prompted to download the new apps. 

Below are the links for the new Kangarootime apps for both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. We recommend updating these apps on your centre devices as soon as possible to ensure there are no hiccups on 31 May!


We have improved setting of emergency contacts for children, and from now, when a new Primary Contact is created, they will automatically be set as an Emergency Contact by default. This includes Primary Contacts created via online enrolment, manually created and any secondary contacts that are promoted to Primary Contacts.


Child Age and ATSI Status have been added to the Child Miscellaneous Report! For more information on this report, please see the Child Miscellaneous Report article.  


Due to the Enrolment Dashboard screen containing duplicate information, we have chosen to hide this screen. If you are needing to check centre and class availability, this can be done on the Enrolment Management screen.

The Enrolment History Report is a new report which displays historical data for any Contract and Form Update requests sent to families at your centre. For more information on this report, please see the Enrolment History Report article.
