Staff Checking children in and out in Kangarootime

Staff members who are responsible for checking children in and out of class rolls, need to have a Staff Employee profile created in Kangarootime so that they can log in and attend to the class rolls.


Once a staff member has accepted their invitation and completed their employee profile (profile picture included) - they can begin to use Kangarootime to check children in and out of the centre.



Checking Children In and Out


On your device - log into Kangarootime at https://k2.kangarootime.com.au


On the left side menu, navigate to Attendance, then select Attendance/Bookings from the drop down options.


This will display an overview of class occupancy



Scroll down to the Class list section.  You can view all children expected for the day, or you can select a specific class to work with by using the dropdown on the right. You can also select multiple specific classes by selecting the checkbox next to the class name, rather than just one class at a time. 




Across from the children's names you will see the Actions column.


Here is where you can check a child in/out, or mark them as Absent.

Use the to mark a child as Absent



Adding a Casual day for a Child


Use +Add Session to add a child to their class for a casual day.




It is mandatory to select the date you are adding this session for, as well as the Class, Child name and select the fee to be applied, once completed, select Save.
