CCS Messages and Special Events

Under the Subsidies are of the menu, you will find the CCS Messages screen.  Here you will find important messages or correspondence that the government sends through regarding your centre.

CCS Service Messages


Navigate to Subsidies > CCS Messages > Service Messages


You can filter the government messages by Type or the particular area of your interaction with CCSS such as Enrolments, Entitlements or ACCS.


Event Records from CCSS


Navigate to Subsidies > CCS Messages > Event Management


This screen is read-only.  There is no action that needs to be taken here to retrieve or add anything to the CCSS.


There are currently two event types from the government that may be applied to your centre.


'Local Emergency - where the Department of Education, Skills and Employment identify that a local emergency is impacting families and early childhood education and care services.  This includes where a disaster declaration has been made.


Special Purpose Absences - in circumstances where the Minister makes a decision that a child is eligible for additional allowable absences as defined by the Child Care Subsidy Minister's Rules 2017.' (Services Australia, 2021)


You will find the any specific Event IDs, recipient type and Event type on the individual child's session report under Subsidies > CCS Subsidies > Subsidies tracking.
