Quick Mark Option for Attendances

Modified on Wed, 6 Mar at 1:08 AM

This article is designed to help you record children's attendances in a quick and easy way, specifically designed for OSHC Centres to be able to check a large number of children in and out of the centre within a short period of time.

Navigate to the Today's Attendance screen by selecting Attendances from the menu, then Today from the drop down options.

At the top of the Today's Attendances screen you can see which centre you are viewing the attendances for (relevant if you have permissions for more than one centre). On the right hand side of the screen you can select which class you are viewing the attendances for, multiple classes can be selected at a time.

The Today's Attendances screen displays the Expected number of children for the day and selected class. It also displays the numbers of children who are Unknown, Late, Absent, Checked In and Checked Out. Under this, the screen displays a table with Child, Grade, Class, Status, Check In/Out and Action columns.

To sign a child in or out, select the Check In or Check Out button in the Actions column of the Child that you want to check in/out. Once a child has been checked in, they will drop down to the bottom of the attendances list, and the unknown children will remain at the top of the attendances list. You will then see the child has been marked as either In or Out in the Status column. The check in and out times will then be displayed in the Check In/Out column. When a child is unknown, the Status column will display '?', and the Check In/Out column will remain blank.
